The Logos Alignment Framework is a theoretical physics framework that proposes a single geometric principle underlying all of physical reality: the alignment distance $\delta(S, D)$, measuring how far any physical system $S$ has drifted from the eternal dimension $D$.
The Central Insight
Most attempts at a Theory of Everything begin with the assumption that the physical universe is the fundamental substrate of reality. The Alignment Framework inverts this assumption.
The framework begins with a logical proof: there must exist an eternal dimension $D$ containing mathematics $M$, language $L$, and consciousness $C$ that is ontologically prior to the empirical universe $U$. This is not a metaphysical speculation but a logical necessity β the universe cannot be self-grounding.
The Universal Force Law
From this foundation, all four fundamental forces emerge as projections of a single alignment dynamic:
$$\vec{F} = -\alpha\delta\nabla\delta$$
This equation states that every force in nature is a gradient of the alignment distance field. Gravity, electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force, and the weak nuclear force are all manifestations of this single principle operating at different scales and coupling strengths.
Entropy as Misalignment
The second law of thermodynamics receives a geometric interpretation:
$$S = S_0 + k_B\delta^2$$
Entropy is not merely statistical disorder. It is the accumulated geometric misalignment of a physical system from the eternal dimension. The arrow of time is the direction of increasing $\delta$.
Why This Matters
The Standard Model of particle physics contains 19 or more free parameters β numbers that must be measured experimentally and inserted by hand. No existing theory explains why the electron has the mass it does, or why the fine structure constant is approximately 1/137.
The Alignment Framework derives all of these constants from first principles, with an average error of 0.0021% across 25+ retrodictions. And it makes 15+ specific numerical predictions for quantities not yet measured.
The Consciousness Connection
Perhaps most controversially, the framework proves that consciousness is not an emergent byproduct of complex matter but a geometric necessity. Every light cone in spacetime requires an instantiated conscious observer at its apex for operational causal structure to exist.
This resolves the measurement problem in quantum mechanics, the hard problem of consciousness, and provides an objective foundation for human dignity and ethics.
